From Our Family to Yours: Welcome to BC Uniform!

Hello there, St. Francis Xavier families!

We are the Caloza family 💛💙❤️❤️

This is me (Bernadette), my husband, Byron, and our kids, Ben & Bethany—both of whom are SFX graduates. We’re pleased to meet you!

In the middle of August 2020, we received an email announcing that SFX’s longtime school uniform vendor, Crown Uniforms, was officially closing its doors. Worried that we and all of our fellow SFX families would be forced to switch over to buying uniforms from some large company that might be more expensive, more distant, and otherwise less “close-to-home” than Crown always was, we asked the school and the former owners of Crown if we could take the reins as uniform provider.

And now we’ve opened up BC Uniforms: our independent apparel store providing school uniforms exclusively for the SFX community! We’re located in Toluca Lake, and you can visit us Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

While our past few months have been spent setting up and organizing our business, we’ve also been working earnestly to make the transition to a new and different small uniform store as seamless as possible for all Lancer community members. So, in addition to visiting us in-person, you can visit our website → www.bcuniform.com ← for a more convenient shopping experience. For families who know exactly what they’re looking for, ordering online eliminates the need to drive over to the store. Plus, it limits the number of people in-store at any given time, making shopping safer for everyone!

Since in-person school resumed in March, I’ve had the opportunity to meet many of you—both in person and online… and it’s been an absolute joy! I’d like to thank you for being supportive of us throughout this transitional period. I appreciate all of your kindness, your compassion, your patience, and your understanding (with all my boo-boos😂).

Having said that, I’d also like to let everybody know that I'm unfortunately not the best at remembering names and faces! So, if you see me at the store or on campus or over Zoom (or anywhere else) and I don't recognize you, please don't take it personally! Feel free to approach and say hi… the same goes with our whole family; we'd love to connect with you! St. Francis Xavier was, is, and always will be our family 💙💛❤️❤️
